The idea
The app allows drivers to anonymously share the moments they pass mile markers on US-191 between Bozeman and Big Sky and Yellowstone West, and up to the resorts. Nothing else, and never tied to anyone.
Those timestamps add up to a live answer: how fast the canyon is actually moving, right now, alongside road reports and canyon-focused weather.
By watching how traffic is moving, and if people are exiting the 'dead zone' in a normal amount of time, we can tell in real time if things are ok. In return you know "How's the Canyon" by just opening the app. Down the road, once we have more real data from users, we plan to add early departure alerts, hazard warnings, and 24-hour predictions.

The canyon has a cellular dead zone nearly the length of the drive itself. Whatever happens inside it is invisible until someone comes out the other end. This app is how we tell each other, automatically.

There's no Android version yet, and I don't want to build one nobody uses. Leave your email and I'll know it's worth doing. When there's something to test, you'll get one email about it. Nothing else.
